I started Adventure Racing four years ago and was hooked after my very first race. I enjoy the strategy of planning your race course and combing navigation, trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing, and canoeing in one event. During the day I work as a CIO for a public policy think tank in Washington DC and on the weekends I enjoy outdoor activities with my family, so Adventure Racing was a natural fit.
