Who am I? I am a child of Christ. I am a mommy. I am a wife. I am a triathlete. I am a musician. I am an optimist. I am a believer. I am a dreamer.

Who/what shares your home with you:

My husband Kelly (yes, we have the same name…yes, it’s confusing sometimes…but most of the time it’s totally fun!!), my son Ryan, who is 6, and my son Noah who is 3.

Years in triathlon:

4

Where do you stand on coffee:

I don’t really like to stand on it, I prefer to drink it. I ususally do decaf, BUT I have a total weakness for a really well-made skim latte, and I drink those regular (not decaf) and way too often!

Favorite race:

Rev3 Quassy…of course! (Does this make me a butt-kisser?)

What’s one trait that you hate about yourself:

My fat legs, JK, kind of…no, really, I think I overthink most things, and wish I could just go with my gut more.

Favorite pre-race food:

Peanut butter and honey on whole wheat

Chocolate or salted chips?

chocolate…although chocolate covered potato chips are really good

Triathlon goals for 2010:

PR my half-iron distance and race to my full potential

Advice you would give to a new triathlete:

Make sure you have fun and smile during the race. Cheer everyone on and soak up the atmosphere…it is one of the best things about a triathlon.
