Who/what shares your home with you: My hubby, sweet daughter, and the dirty clothes that keep having babies in the laundry room.
Years in triathlon:
6
Where do you stand on coffee:
There are 2 kinds of people that drink coffee… addicts and liars. I am an addict and fully admit to the fact that my pretty princess carriage turns back into a pumpkin if I haven’t had my soy latte by 10am.
Favorite race:
Anything local. I love seeing people I know out on the course.
What’s one trait that you hate about yourself:
Although I really don’t watch much TV at all, I have a “problem”
whenever I turn it on… I can’t take my eyes off of the thing and seem to pretty much tune out the rest of the world. Seriously people, my husband has to pause the DVR to pull me out of the zone. There’s got to be some diagnosis for this or maybe an alien inside that black box, but for now it’s simply ri.dic.u.lous.
Favorite pre-race food:
Pre-race food is actually quite boring… (oatmeal, coffee, gel)… but what I’m most excited about is post-race food. I’m talking about a guilt-free greasy cheeseburger and milkshake – a double dose of heaven.
Chocolate or salted chips?
Chocolate… the darker the better.
Triathlon goals for 2010:
To fall in love with running.
Advice you would give to a new triathlete:
There’s no better preparation for racing, than racing. Make sure to get some “B” and “C” priority races on the calendar. That’s where some of my best learning has come from!

"A Real Power Meter"
AM I AS GOOD OF A PERSON AS I AM AN ATHLETE? I recently read a blog post that REALLY made me think. I know… put your safety goggles on and watch out. No for reals, I have thought about this a ridiculous amount in the last 5 month...
