Who/what shares your home with you: My girlfriend, Sam.
Years in triathlon:
5
Where do you stand on coffee:
I’d rather wake up with a run than caffeine. I’m a tea guy anyway.
Favorite race:
Lobsterman Olympic in Freeport, Maine
What’s one trait that you hate about yourself:
I’ve come to terms with it, but I’m physically unable to have only one cookie. Unless you offer me a whole stack, it isn’t even worth it to me.
Favorite pre-race food:
Frosted Flakes. Tony the Tiger has never steered me wrong.
Chocolate or salted chips?
Chocolate covered chips. Why not have both?
Triathlon goals for 2010:
I’m looking to to race my first iron distance triathlon at Rev3 Cedar point in 2010.
Advice you would give to a new triathlete:
Never forget the reasons why you race. Focus on the memories you will make with your training and racing buddies. They will last much longer than the memories of your finishing times.
